RubiKon Helps Bureau of Meteorology Upgrade Enterprise Business Systems
12 August 2011

RubiKon Staff provided the core capability to manage the recent SAP upgrade at the Bureau of Meteorology. The Project upgraded the existing Financial Management System and integrated it with an existing HR solution. The project was managed to tight deadlines as the implementation of New GL required a Go Live on 1 July, with build, test and implementation restricted to less than 4 months.

Chris Barkes, our Victorian Operations Manager, was delighted with the way the team worked and the resulting system. Quality was the prime concern and incident levels returned to the pre implementation levels within a week and no critical issues were reported. However, the outcome was also delivered within budget and on time.

RubiKon continues to be involved with the Bureau of Meteorology, leading the Bureau’s EPMO which is delivering increased maturity across the Portfolio, Programme and Project disciplines in line with P3M3 requirements.
