RubiKon Commences Business In South Africa
28 April 2011

Commencing on 17th April 2011, the RubiKon Group has officially opened up operations in South Africa.  'RubiKon AfriKa' is a joint venture between RubiKon Group Pty Ltd (Australia) and our locally based partners in South Africa.  The RubiKon AfriKa team is led by Tsepang Setipa in Port Elizabeth and Gary Rockliffe-Fidler in Cape Town (see ‘Contact ’ menu for more details).

In the current global climate, effective Supply Chain Solutions are increasingly important with companies looking to optimise their inventory and ensure that their materiel flow is efficient and, in particular, secure.  RubiKon Managing Director Chris Otley-Doe stated “this is a very exciting time for RubiKon as the Supply Chain is the Achilles heel of many organisations and one where major efficiencies can be realised.”

Core to RubiKon AfriKa’s initial supply chain security offering is the provision of the CyberLock electronic lock system.  Cyberlock is a robust electronic locking technology which can be seamlessly integrated into a facility’s existing locking/security hardware simply by replacing the mechanical cyclinders with Cyberlock electronic cylinders.  This is easily done without the expensive costs of hardwiring or structural changes.  With locks that cannot be picked and keys that cannot be duplicated,  CyberLock provides a powerful, affordable electronic access control solution for companies that need to secure their buildings and track entry to sensitive or remote areas.
